Prevent Insurance Billing on Services

PracticeQ allows you to disable insurance billing for specific services.

1. Click Bookings → Booking Settings.
2. Select the Services tab.
3. Click Edit for the service for which you wish to disable insurance billing.
4. Select the Advanced tab.
5. Check the box labeled Prevent insurance billing.

Note: When this box is checked for a service, you will not be able to generate claims for any appointments scheduled for it, and the client's copay will not be charged either. This will be the case even if the client's Billing Type is set to Insurance.
