Add a Page Break to a Form

It’s easy to add a page break for both the web and print versions of your intake questionnaires!

If you have a long questionnaire and your clients complain that your form is slow or keeps freezing, it may be because certain browsers and older devices cannot handle several input controls on a single page. Page breaks help to alleviate this.

1. Click My Forms and open the form you wish to edit.
2. Click the question with which you want to start the new page.
3. Click the Question Options button.
4. Check the box labeled Start on a new page (PDF) and/or Start on a new page (Web).

Note: To ensure optimal performance on older devices, PracticeQ will automatically add page breaks every 40-50 questions. The system will insert breaks more often if your questions contain several sub-items.
