Trace Route Instructions
If PracticeQ or IntakeQ is running slow for you, it's helpful to provide trace route information to our Support Team.
Step 1: Run the trace route on your workstation
If you're running Microsoft® Windows®:
- Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
- Type cmd and press Enter to open a Command Prompt.
- Type "tracert www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
- Wait a couple seconds until it stops ("trace complete").
- Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.

If you're running Mac OS®:
- Click the Spotlight icon in the Menu bar.
Note: The icon looks like a magnifying glass. you can also open the Spotlight by pressing COMMAND+SPACE keys simultaneously. - Enter terminal into the Spotlight Search field and press Enter.
- Type "traceroute www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
- Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.
If you're running a Chromebook:
- CTRL+ALT+T will open up the command prompt.
- Type “tracepath www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
- Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.
- Type “exit” and press enter to go back to your normal Chromebook experience.

Step 2: Provide Support with your IP address and screenshot
Please send the following to hello@intakeq.com:
- Your public IP address
- You can find this on https://www.showmyip.com/
- The screenshot of your trace route results
