Trace Route Instructions

If PracticeQ or IntakeQ is running slow for you, it's helpful to provide trace route information to our Support Team. 

Step 1: Run the trace route on your workstation

If you're running Microsoft® Windows®:

  1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
  2. Type cmd and press Enter to open a Command Prompt.
  3. Type "tracert www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
  4. Wait a couple seconds until it stops ("trace complete").
  5. Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.

If you're running Mac OS®:

  1. Click the Spotlight icon in the Menu bar.
    Note: The icon looks like a magnifying glass. you can also open the Spotlight by pressing COMMAND+SPACE keys simultaneously.
  2. Enter terminal into the Spotlight Search field and press Enter.
  3. Type "traceroute www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
  4. Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.

If you're running a Chromebook:

  1. CTRL+ALT+T will open up the command prompt.
  2. Type “tracepath www.intakeq.com" and press Enter.
  3. Let the process complete, then take a screenshot of the result.
  4. Type “exit” and press enter to go back to your normal Chromebook experience.
