Zoom API Limit

Are you unable to generate meeting links when you enable Zoom for services?

If Zoom is not generating links when you enable it for a service, read the following.

API Limit

• Zoom enforces a limit of 100 API calls in a 24-hour period.
• When you enable Zoom for a service that already has several appointments scheduled, Zoom will try to create links for all existing appointments, with each attempt counting as an API call.
• This will trigger an error if the number of existing appointments exceeds the API limit. 

Steps to Resolve

• Contact Zoom Support; they will remove the limit for certain subscriptions.
• If Zoom Support cannot assist you, try the alternative solution below.

Alternative Solution

1. Go to Bookings → Booking Settings.
2. Locate the service(s) and click the Duplicate icon.
3. Add "Zoom" to the names of the duplicated services. 
   
   1. For example, "Therapy Visit - Zoom"
4. Only enable Zoom for the duplicated services.
   
   1. To do so, click Edit for each service and select the Advanced tab. Click the Enable Zoom button. 
5. Use the new "Zoom" services for all future bookings to avoid the API limit issue.
