The Dangers of Shared Credentials

Our team does not support sharing IntakeQ credentials between two or more team members for several reasons.

IntakeQ/PracticeQ offers you the ability to add an unlimited number of free assistant accounts, eliminating the need to duplicate credentials. Simply click More → Team and click the Add New Assistant button!

  • Sharing login credentials significantly reduces the security of your practice account and puts PHI and employee data at risk, particularly when 2FA is not enabled.
  • When multiple staff members use the same login, the likelihood of account lockouts increases when two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled.
  • Shared credentials compromise the integrity of the Audit Trail, making it impossible to accurately track who performed specific actions.
