Delete a Client
You may delete a client in PracticeQ if needed. If a client is deleted in error, you may fully restore them up to fourteen days after deletion.
Delete a client
- Click Lists → Clients.
- Open the client's profile.
- Click the three dots icon on the top right corner of the page.
- Click Delete.
- In the Attention box, type the word DELETE to confirm.
- Click Yes, delete.

Restore a deleted client
When a client is deleted, all of their associated data, including intake forms, appointments, and notes, will be eventually be removed from the system. Fourteen days after deletion, a deleted client's data cannot be fully restored.
If you have permission to delete a client, or if you are the account administrator, you can restore a deleted client.
- Click Reports → Audit Trail.
- In the Action field, enter "deleted."
- Click Search.
- Locate the event in the report and click the restore client link.
