Delete a Client

You may delete a client in PracticeQ if needed. If a client is deleted in error, you may fully restore them up to fourteen days after deletion.

Delete a client

  1. Click Lists → Clients.
  2. Open the client's profile.
  3. Click the three dots icon on the top right corner of the page.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. In the Attention box, type the word DELETE to confirm.
  6. Click Yes, delete.

Restore a deleted client

When a client is deleted, all of their associated data, including intake forms, appointments, and notes, will be eventually be removed from the system. Fourteen days after deletion, a deleted client's data cannot be fully restored.

If you have permission to delete a client, or if you are the account administrator, you can restore a deleted client.

  1. Click Reports → Audit Trail.
  2. In the Action field, enter "deleted."
  3. Click Search.
  4. Locate the event in the report and click the restore client link.
