NEW: Other Patient Responsibility Column in Claims List

If PracticeQ generates an invoice after you post a claim payment, refer to the "Other PR" column in Lists → Claims.

Other PR may include patient-responsibility amounts that do not fall under Copay, Coinsurance, or Deductible. Examples may include:
  • Non-covered visits or services
  • Exceeded benefit limits
  • Services not authorized by the payer
  • Non-covered lactation consultations
  • Non-covered IV treatments or components

Locate the Other PR Column

  1. Click Lists → Claims and locate the client's claim.
  2. Select the Detailed View icon on the top right.
  3. If the client was charged for reasons outside of the Copay, Coinsurance, or Deductible, the amount due will display in the Other PR column.
  4. Review the claim ERA to see the reason for the charge. 
  5. If you have reviewed the ERA and still have questions about the amount in the Other PR column, please contact your clearinghouse.
