What to Expect When Replicating Treatment Notes

Learn what to expect when you replicate a treatment note in PracticeQ.

Required Fields

  • All fields required on the original treatment note will remain required on the replicated note.

Signatures

  • When you replicate a treatment note from client John to client Sofia:
    • Existing signatures will remain on John's treatment note.
    • Existing signatures will be cleared on Sofia's replicated treatment note.

PRO TIP:

  • If you would like to change the signature in a locked note, you can do so by replicating the note to the same client!
  • The signature from the original note will clear, allowing you to add the correct one to the replicated note.

Locking

When you lock John's treatment note and replicate it to client Sofia:

  • Sofia's replicated note will unlock.
  • This allows you to make changes to the note specific to Sofia and enter signatures.
  • You can then lock Sofia's replicated note.

Mapped Fields

When you replicate a treatment note from client John to client Sofia:

  • The mapped fields will transfer to Sofia's note, and they will replace John's information with Sofia's.

Pinned Notes

When you replicate a treatment note from client John to client Sofia:

  • John's pinned notes, containing his information, will carry over to Sofia's treatment note.
  • Make the necessary edits to Sofia's note before saving and locking it.
