Unlock a Client Portal Account Due to Failed Login Attempts

For security reasons, PracticeQ locks a client's secure portal account after five failed login attempts. If this happens to one of your clients, use the steps below to unlock their account.

  1. From the home page, click the speech bubble icon.
  2. Select the client that has been locked out from the list on the left.
  3. Within the client's messaging channel, you will see an exclamation mark next to their name. 
  4. Click Click here to unlock to unlock the channel.
  5. We recommend that the client click the Forgot my Password option on the portal login screen to reset their password.
