Disable the Booking Widget
PracticeQ's booking widget allows clients to book online. If you not wish to allow this, your admin can disable the booking widget.
- Click Bookings → Booking Settings.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Check the box labeled Disable Booking Widget.
- Click Save. It will typically auto-save after a few seconds.
While the booking widget is disabled, you are still able to manually schedule appointments using the back-end calendar, but your clients will not be able to schedule appointments online. The steps above will not disable booking in the client portal; see the next section.
Disable Bookings in the Client Portal
If you are using the secure client portal and allow bookings, disabling the booking widget does not stop it from functioning in the portal.
- Click the speech bubble icon in the main navigation bar.
- Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the portal.
- Select the Portal Features tab.
- Uncheck the box labeled Allow clients to book appointments in my portal.
