Adding Secondary Insurance to Claims

In some cases you might want to include a patient's secondary insurance on a primary claim, so they are forwarded to the secondary after primary adjudication. 

To indicate that you want the secondary insurance information added to the primary claims for a specific client, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to a client's profile by searching for them or going to "Lists > Clients".
  2. Click on "Edit" beside the client demographics.
  3. Scroll down to the "Secondary Insurance" section.
  4. Check the box that says "Include Secondary Insurance on Primary Claims".

This will make the system include the secondary insurance into all claims that you create for this client.

In case you want to add the secondary insurance to an existing claim, simply open the claim and click on the button "Add Secondary Insurance", as indicated in the image below.
