Mark a Client Portal Channel as Unread

Sometimes you need to mark a client's secure portal channel as unread to keep it on your radar.

  • Marking a channel as unread does two things: 
    • It adds an unread tag next to the client name in the portal client list.
    • It displays as an unread channel next to the portal icon.

To mark a channel as unread, follow the steps below:

  1. From the home page, click the speech bubble icon.
  2. Select the client portal from the list on the left.
  3. Click the three dots icon on the upper right, then select Mark as Unread.
  4. You will now see the unread tag for that client's channel and it will add 1 to the unread portal messages icon.

Note: The read/unread status of a channel is handled on a per-user basis. If you mark a channel as unread, it will not affect its status for other users in your team.
