Mark a Client Portal Channel as Unread
Sometimes you need to mark a client's secure portal channel as unread to keep it on your radar.
- Marking a channel as unread does two things:
- It adds an unread tag next to the client name in the portal client list.
- It displays as an unread channel next to the portal icon.
To mark a channel as unread, follow the steps below:
- From the home page, click the speech bubble icon.
- Select the client portal from the list on the left.
- Click the three dots icon on the upper right, then select Mark as Unread.
- You will now see the unread tag for that client's channel and it will add 1 to the unread portal messages icon.
Note: The read/unread status of a channel is handled on a per-user basis. If you mark a channel as unread, it will not affect its status for other users in your team.
