Claims Permissions

Claim Permissions control the Claims tab on the client timeline and the Lists → Claims tab.

• Can view claims
• User can view claims in Read Only Mode 
Lists → Claims and Client Timeline  → Claims tabs are hidden if this permission is not checked
• This permission is overridden if Hide appointment prices is checked in the Special Permissions section
This permission is required for all further settings in this category
• Can create claims
• User can create claims
• User can issue and submit claims to the Clearinghouse
• Can export claims
• User can export the Lists → Claims pages (Lists → Claims → Appointments and Lists → Claims → Payments) to CSV files
• Can edit claims
• User can make edits to claims that have already been created and/or issued
• This permission is is needed when the practice needs to edit the status of the claim manually, after it has been "Issued to Clearinghouse"
• Can manage all claims
• User can view all claims, regardless of access to client data
• This permission is useful for billers
• Can delete claims
• User can delete a claim
• Can edit ERA from Clearinghouse

• User can edit an ERA after it is returned from the Clearinghouse
