Here are some common questions practices have regarding staff permissions, answered!

I have Invoice Permissions enabled but my staff can't view invoices or export the Lists → Appointments page.
- You may have Hide Appointment Prices checked for your staff under the Special Permissions section. If so, this will override the invoice permissions, claims permissions and appointment export positions you have granted your staff.
- Uncheck Hide Appointment Prices and verify that all other permissions look correct. This should resolve the issue!
How do I give staff permission to Pre-Fill?
- The ability to pre-fill is contained in the Form Template Permissions, not the Client Forms Permissions.
- When your staff pre-fills, they are "editing" the template.
- Therefore, your staff only needs the following permissions to pre-fill:
- Can Open Templates
- Can Edit Templates
Can a non-Admin staff member add new staff members?
- If an Assistant has the Can manage team members permission, they can do the following:
- Add Assistants
- Add Practitioners
- Edit Assistants
- They cannot edit Practitioners
- If a Practitioner has the Can manage team members permission, they can do the following:
- Add Practitioners
- Edit Assistants
- They cannot add assistants
- They cannot edit Practitioners
What permission is needed to add or delete fields on a live treatment note?
- To do this, a staff member needs the Can edit templates permission in the Form Templates permissions category.
- This is because when a staff member edits a field in a live note, they are adjusting the "default layout" of the form template.
- If you do not wish for a staff member to add or delete fields on a live treatment note, select the option Prevent staff from editing this template in the note template settings.
