Submit a Claim Outside of PracticeQ

If you choose to submit claims outside of PracticeQ, you have two options for exporting your claim information.

First, follow the steps to Create a Claim. 

Option 1: Submit Electronically via Another Clearinghouse

1. At the bottom of the claim, click Action.
2. Select Generate EDI Claim from the dropdown menu.
3. This will convert the claim to an Electronic Data Interchange file.
4. Submit the EDI file to the clearinghouse of your choosing, or in the insurance company portal.

Option 2: Create a PDF File

1. At the bottom of the claim, click Action.
2. Select Print CMS 1500 from the dropdown menu.
3. When the file opens, save it as a PDF.
4. Submit the PDF in the manner of your choosing.

Note: This PDF is merely a viewable version of the CMS 1500 claim. It will not print on the legal CMS 1500 document paper.
