ePrescribe: Add a Client
Add a client to ePrescribe to prescribe medications quickly and easily.
Required Fields to Add a Client
To add a patient to ePrescriptions, either manually or through PracticeQ, the following fields must be completed:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Street Address
- Zip Code
- City
- State
- At least one phone number (home, work, or cell)
Note: If any of these fields are missing, the patient cannot be added via merge or interfaced successfully.
Add a Client
Patients can be added in three ways:
- Manually, via the Add Patient button on the home screen
- Automatically, through integration with PracticeQ
- Via a Merge when a duplicate is identified
To add a patient manually:
- Click More → ePrescribe.
- Click Add Patient from the home screen.
- Fill out all required demographic fields (pictured below).
- Toggle Patient consents to download med history to enable medication history downloads to ON (this is optional).
Note: If you are unable to add a client, your user role may not allow it. Speak with your manager or contact hello@intakeq.com.
