ePrescribe: Add a Client

Add a client to ePrescribe to prescribe medications quickly and easily.

Required Fields to Add a Client

To add a patient to ePrescriptions, either manually or through PracticeQ, the following fields must be completed:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Street Address
  • Zip Code
  • City
  • State
  • At least one phone number (home, work, or cell)

Note: If any of these fields are missing, the patient cannot be added via merge or interfaced successfully.


Add a Client

Patients can be added in three ways:

  • Manually, via the Add Patient button on the home screen
  • Automatically, through integration with PracticeQ
  • Via a Merge when a duplicate is identified

To add a patient manually:

  1. Click More → ePrescribe.
  2. Click Add Patient from the home screen.
  3. Fill out all required demographic fields (pictured below).
  4. Toggle Patient consents to download med history to enable medication history downloads to ON (this is optional).

Note: If you are unable to add a client, your user role may not allow it. Speak with your manager or contact hello@intakeq.com.
