Payments Tab in Booking Settings
Customize your payment settings and cancellation policy to automate payments and increase revenue!
Payment Settings
- Click Bookings → Booking Settings.
- Select the Payments tab.
- For Require Credit Card When Booking? select your option:
- Require a credit card
- Make credit card optional
- Don't ask for a credit card
- For When card is on file: select your option:
- Charge client on the day of the appointment
- Charge client immediately upon booking
- Don't charge client automatically
- For Appointment Auto-Charge Settings:
- Enter how many hours before the appointment to auto-charge
- When card is not on file and When auto-charge fails, select an option:
- Do nothing
- Send invoice to client
- Create invoice but don't send
Cancellation Policy
- Enter how many hours prior to the appointment your client can cancel without paying a cancellation fee.
- Enter how much their credit card will be charged if they cancel irresponsibly.
- Type how you wish your Cancellation Policy to appear to clients.
NOTE: If you manually cancel an appointment for a client, you will need to manually issue an invoice if you want them to be charged. The automatic charge only applies if the client cancels the appointment themselves and had a credit card on file when the appointment was scheduled.
