Payments Tab in Booking Settings

Customize your payment settings and cancellation policy to automate payments and increase revenue!

Payment Settings

  1. Click Bookings → Booking Settings
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. For Require Credit Card When Booking? select your option:
    1. Require a credit card
    2. Make credit card optional
    3. Don't ask for a credit card
  4. For When card is on file: select your option:
    1. Charge client on the day of the appointment
    2. Charge client immediately upon booking
    3. Don't charge client automatically
  5. For Appointment Auto-Charge Settings:
    1. Enter how many hours before the appointment to auto-charge
  6. When card is not on file and When auto-charge fails, select an option:
    1. Do nothing
    2. Send invoice to client
    3. Create invoice but don't send

Cancellation Policy

  • Enter how many hours prior to the appointment your client can cancel without paying a cancellation fee.
  • Enter how much their credit card will be charged if they cancel irresponsibly.
  • Type how you wish your Cancellation Policy to appear to clients.

NOTE: If you manually cancel an appointment for a client, you will need to manually issue an invoice if you want them to be charged. The automatic charge only applies if the client cancels the appointment themselves and had a credit card on file when the appointment was scheduled.
