When adding Notes to Pharmacist on a prescription, you may select from a list of Standard Notes.
Notes to Pharmacist are not required.
ScriptSure recently disabled Free-Form Notes to Pharmacist by default, as Pharmacies reported that more than 95% of Free-Form Notes are redundant, confusing or contradictory. If you would like to discuss having Free-Form Notes enabled, please contact support@dawsystems.com.
Free-Form Notes must not contain:
supervisor information
change in dose information, strength, quantity, or day's supply
insurance information
diagnosis
patient demographics
medication pickup information
Notes to Pharmacist should not include information already included in designated fields of the prescription.
When you select a Standard Note, the note will expand to show the full message to the user.
