PracticeQ Payments: Reports in PracticeQ versus Stax
PracticeQ Payments tracks income in more than one way, so the numbers for sales versus deposits will not match up.
Income Report:
- This report can be found in PracticeQ, under Reports → Income.
- This report tallies payments and refunds from clients and insurance for a given period for a specified practitioner.
- This is based on the payments/refunds processed within the period.
Deposit Report:
- This report is managed by Stax, the processor for PracticeQ Payments.
- Access this report by clicking More → Payment Dashboard. Click Reports, then Deposit.
- This report tallies the digested sales and fees deposited within the given period. This will not match up to the Income Report in PracticeQ, which tracks payments processed on a specific date.
- The reports will not match because a sale that is processed at the end of the month may not be deposited until the following month. For example, a payment processed on September 30th will not be deposited until October, so the deposit for these funds will appear in October's data.
Fee Statement:
- This report is managed by Stax, the processor for PracticeQ Payments.
- Access this report by clicking More → Payment Dashboard. Click Reports, then Fee Statement.
- This data shows payments made in a given period, and deposits within a given period. The two will not match up due to the deposit schedule not matching the payments processed date. Remember that PracticeQ Payments take 48 business hours to deposit.
PracticeQ Payments Dashboard:
- This dashboard is not the full scope of data, and is delayed by up to 24 hours.
- The dashboard is meant to be a quick peek, and should not be used as your calculation for income/sales/deposits.
- Depending on what data you are looking for, whether that is "how much money did I process in August" or "how much money was deposited into my bank in August", both data sets are there, but will present different numbers.
