Set Up Your Notifications

In addition to in-app notifications, PracticeQ offers several email and text notifications to keep you informed of actions on your account.

Note: All notifications listed in the Notifications tab are sent via email except for the five listed under the SMS heading. To receive SMS notifications, enter a textable phone number in the field provided. 

  1. Click More → Settings.
  2. Select the Notifications tab on the left.
  3. Select the notifications you wish to receive for the following topics:
    1. Form Notifications
      1. Decide if you want to be notified when clients submit forms or forms are assigned to you.
    2. Appointment Notifications
      1. This category offers both email and SMS notification options
      2. Choose when to be notified about appointment scheduling, confirmation, and checkin.
    3. Note Notifications
      1. Stay on top of notes assigned to you or sessions that are missing notes.
    4. Invoice Notifications
      1. Get notified about invoice payments, auto-charges, and payment declines.
    5. Claim Notifications
      1. Keep up with ERA statuses and Prior Authorization numbers.
    6. Staff Comment Notifications
      1. Choose if you wish to be notified when fellow staff members make comments on clients.
    7. Inventory Notifications
      1. Stay on top of your product list; choose to be notified about expiry and low stock.
    8. Other
      1. Choose notifications about PracticeQ updates, choose to remove client data from your notifications
      2. This is also where you can control your in-app notifications; when disabled, you will stop receiving non-critical notifications. 
      3. When you check Disable app notifications on your screen, you will still receive notifications when appointments are booked by clients and when an email you send succeeds or fails.
  4. Once you have completed your selections, click Save.
