Delete a Practitioner's Account

If a practitioner is no longer with your practice, you can deactivate or delete their account. Learn how to delete a practitioner and what to expect.

Keep in Mind:

  • Only the account admin can delete a practitioner account.
  • This action cannot be undone.
  • Some states do not allow transfer of data between practitioners, so you may need to deactivate the practitioner instead of deleting them. To learn more about deactivating practitioners, read Deactivate a Practitioner's Account.

What will happen when you delete a practitioner?

You must first transfer ALL data from a practitioner before deleting them. Learn more about what happens when you transfer all data from one practitioner to another here.

Transfer the Practitioner's Data

  1. Click More → Teams.
  2. Select the Practitioners tab.
  3. Click the Transfer button beside the name of the practitioner you wish to delete.
  4. In the first dropdown menu, select the practitioner you wish to transfer data to.
  5. Select the Transfer Type. In order to delete the practitioner, you must select the All Data option.
  6. Click Transfer.

Delete the Practitioner Account

  1. Click More → Teams.
  2. Select the Practitioners tab.
  3. Click the Remove button for the practitioner you wish to delete.
