Automated Package Emails
If you offer appointment packages to your clients, you can take advantage of two types of automated emails: Package Expiring and Package Sessions About to End.
Package Expiring Email
When a package has an expiry date, you can have an automated email sent to the client a certain amount of days before the expiration date. This email is usually sent to remind the client that the expiration date is approaching and informing them how many sessions they have left.
To create a "Package Expiring" automated email, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to "Bookings > Booking Settings" and select the "Email" tab.
- Click on "Add Email" and choose "Create a 'Package Expiring' email template".
- Fill out the options and create the email template (see image below).
The image above shows an example of an email template that will remind clients 14 days before their package expires. Notice that it includes how many days are left, how many sessions they can still book and a link to the page where they can book new sessions. These placeholders can be found in the "Add Field" dropdown button.
Package Sessions About to End Email
This email template is sent based on how many sessions are left in client's package and can only be sent once per package. It's typically used to let the client know that they have 1 session left or no sessions left. Its purpose it to encourage them to purchase another package.
To create a "Package Session About to End" automated email, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to "Bookings > Booking Settings" and select the "Email" tab.
- Click on "Add Email" and choose "Create a 'Package Sessions About to End' email template".
- Fill out the options and create the email template (see image below).
The image below shows an example of an email that is sent after all the sessions have been used, encouraging the client to purchase a new package.
