How to Change the Form Invitation Email
IntakeQ has a default invitation email that gets sent out with every intake questionnaire. You are able to adjust this on a global or per-form basis to add your own instructions, additional information, etc.
Changing the Global Form Invitation Email
The global form invitation email will be sent out for all intake questionnaires on your account, unless a specific form has its own set. To adjust this global default email template, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to "More > Settings > Emails".
- Click on the three dots button on the right side of the screen to select which email template you'd like to edit, in this case "Form Invitation Email".
- Adjust the "Email Subject" and "Email Body" as you wish, then click the "Save" button at the bottom to finalize the changes.
Note: Be sure to leave [IntakeQLink] in the invitation email to ensure your client gets the link to open the form along with the access code.
Changing the Form Invitation Email on a Single Form
If you want a specific form to have a different invitation email than the global one set above, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to "My Forms" and open the intake questionnaire that you'd like to set the custom invitation email on.
- Click on "... > Settings" and go to the "Invitation Email" tab.
- Check the box next to "Use a custom email template for this form" and you'll be given the ability to edit this forms invitation email.
Note: Be sure to leave [IntakeQLink] in the invitation email to ensure your client gets the link to open the form along with the access code.
