Create an Appointment Without an Email Address

Need to book appointments for clients who do not have email addresses? Enable this setting in your account.

By default, PracticeQ asks for a Name and Email Address from the client at booking. Enabling this setting can be useful in cases such as with older clients who do not use email.

  1. Click More → Settings.
  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Check the box labeled Allow Appointments without Email.
  4. Click Saved in the bottom right corner, or remain on the tab for a few seconds so the system can auto-save your changes.

Notes: 

  • Once this is enabled, staff will have the option to schedule appointments for clients without providing an email. 
  • Clients will still need to enter an email address when scheduling themselves in the booking widget.
  • Clients without an email address will not be able to manage appointments or receive scheduled emails.
