[BETA] Engage - Sync Times Between Engage and PracticeQ

To ensure a smooth experience when using Engage with your PracticeQ (PQ) system, it’s important to understand how often data syncs between the two platforms. Below is a breakdown of expected sync times for different data types.

⚠️ Note: If updates are made in PracticeQ, it may take the following amount of time before they appear in Engage.

⏱️ Sync Time Details

🔹 Sync Every 1 Minute

• New Practice Users
  Any new users added to PracticeQ will appear in Engage within one minute.

🔹 Sync Every 2 Minutes

• Practitioner Updates
  Changes to practitioner names, credentials, or statuses.
• Appointment Time Updates
  If appointment times are changed in PQ, the new times will reflect in Engage within two minutes.
• Treatment Updates
  Edits to treatment or procedure names and details.

🔹 Sync Every 5 Minutes 

• New Appointments
  When a new appointment is created in PQ, it will be visible in Engage within five minutes.
• Appointment Changes
  Includes rescheduled or canceled appointments.
• New Patients
  Patients added in PQ will appear in Engage within five minutes.
• Updated Patient Info
  Any changes to patient contact information or other profile details

📌 PracticeQ Is the Source of Truth

Engage displays data but does not manage it directly. All data comes from PracticeQ, which acts as the source of truth for:

• Practice name and contact info
• Location details
• Provider profiles
• Appointment and patient records

🔒 Do not make any edits directly in Engage.

All updates should be made in PracticeQ and will sync to Engage automatically according to the schedule above.
