Map Client Billing Type

In order to generate bulk claims for a client, their Billing Type must be set to "Insurance." 

Edit Billing Type Manually for Existing Clients:

  1. Click Lists → Clients.
  2. Select the client from the list.
  3. In the Overview tab, note the Billing Type. If it is set to Self Pay or Unknown, you will not be able to generate bulk claims for the client.
  4. Click Edit and manually change the Billing Type to Insurance. To avoid having to do this for all new clients, follow the instructions in the next section.

Map Billing Type Using a Form Rule

Set a client's billing type when they submit a form! This cuts down on manual changes by staff.

  1. Click My Forms → Questionnaires.
  2. Open the form you wish to edit.
  3. Click the gray plus sign icon or click the green Add New Question button.
  4. For Question Type, select Multiple Choice
  5. Type the question and enter the two answer options.

  6. Click the three dots menu and select Rules.
  7. Click Add New Rule.
  8. In the Conditional Rule window, select:
    1. 1. IF: Your question
    2. 2. EQUALS: The answer given by the client
    3. 3. THEN: The field to be mapped
    4. 4. Mapping choice (see example below)
  9. Click Save.

Any client who fills out the form moving forward will have their Billing Type map automatically!
