Transfer Data Between Practitioners

When a practitioner leaves your organization, you can disable their account, which will keep historic data intact while preventing them from logging into the system. However, if you prefer to completely delete the practitioner account, you must transfer all their clients, intakes, appointments and notes to another practitioner.

Note: When you delete a practitioner, you continue to pay for the practitioner slot they occupied until you remove the slot from your account. Read how to Remove a Practitioner Slot here.

  1. Click More → Team.
  2. Select the Practitioners tab.
  3. Click the Transfer button next to the practitioner from whom you want to transfer the data.
  4. Select the practitioner to whom you want to transfer the data.
  5. Choose the Transfer Type
    1. If you intend to fully delete the practitioner from your account, you must select the All Data option. 
    2. If you choose Client ownership only, you can still disable the practitioner.
  6. Click Transfer.
  7. Remain on the page until you see a green Success pop-up on the top right of the screen. The transfer is not complete until you see this.

Once the transfer is complete, you can safely delete the practitioner account.
