How Many Practitioner Accounts Do We Need?
Use the factors below to determine whether you need a single practitioner or multi-practitioner account.
Before going forward, please make sure you understand the difference between practitioner and assistant accounts.
When to Use a Single Practitioner Account
If any of the following match your scenario, a single practitioner account will be sufficient to run PracticeQ without issue:
- There is only one practitioner in your organization.
- Your organization has multiple practitioners, but all the intakes are handled by the front desk staff, who print the intake forms and hand them to the proper practitioner. Additionally, your organization is not using our booking widget, nor our calendar to manage appointments.
- Your organization has multiple practitioners, but all the intakes are handled by the front desk staff, who export them from PracticeQ and import them to an EHR system. Additionally, your organization is not using our booking widget, nor our calendar to manage appointments.
When to Use a Multi-practitioner Account
If any of the following match your scenario, a multi-practitioner account will be the optimal way to use PracticeQ:
- Your organization has multiple practitioners and you want each practitioner to have their own account so they can see the intakes of their own clients.
- Your organization has multiple practitioners and you want each intake form to be automatically routed to the proper practitioner.
- Your organization has multiple practitioners and you want clients and intakes to be organized per practitioner.
- Your organization has multiple practitioners and you want to use PracticeQ's booking system to manage their appointments.
If using a multi-practitioner account is the right choice for your organization, the following article will show you how things work: Multiple Practitioners.
