Prevent Staff From Viewing Pricing

At times it's vital to keep pricing information private from staff. In PracticeQ, you can prevent staff from viewing pricing without affecting your clients.

First, you must decide if you are going to adjust an existing role or create a new role for your staff: read Setting User Permissions.

  1. Click More → Team → Roles.
  2. Locate the Role you wish to edit and click the Edit button.
  3. Make sure the following options are unchecked/disabled: 
    1. Can View Invoices under the Invoices Permissions heading
    2. Can View Claims under the Claims Permissions heading
  4. Scroll down to Special Permissions.
  5. Check Hide Appointment Prices.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Ask your staff to click More → Sign Out.
  8. Have the staff sign back in. The changes will be live in their account.  

Note: Checking Hide appointment prices will hide all pricing information in the system, including Exported CSV files in the Lists → Appointments page, and even in the Event logs.
