Can Heidi realistically capture the transcript with a mask on?
- PracticeQ and Heidi both use the microphone from your device, so yes — it can capture through a mask.

Does this overwrite pinned answers from other notes that prefill the provider's note template?
- No, the integration was built so that Heidi will not overwrite pinned or mapped questions. This maintains the integrity of that data.
How do we initiate a Heidi session in PracticeQ?
- Open the client’s chart.
- Click the plus sign icon in the client timeline and select Create New Note.
- Click the Heidi button in the top right, and follow the prompts to start the session.
What happens if we forget to click “end session”?
- Heidi will continue recording if you navigate around the PracticeQ app.
- If you close the app, it will stop recording.
- It’s best practice to end the session manually.
Are there any limitations to using Heidi with my PracticeQ Notes?
- Pinned notes allow information from intake forms and chart notes to carry-over into subsequent notes. Heidi will not overwrite values in your pinned questions. Feel free to learn more here: https://support.intakeq.com/article/170-pinned-notes
Can Heidi identify different speakers in a session?
- Yes, Heidi can differentiate between people in a session and assigns dialogue accordingly.
Can Heidi refer to past notes to report on progress or other changes in patient presentation?
- While there currently isn't a way to reference a patient's past sessions automatically, you can use the Context tab to reference relevant information from past sessions.

How long are the Heidi notes stored and can they be exported?
- Heidi documents are stored securely within the system, and can be exported into your EHR or downloaded as needed.
What if a session has background noise?
- Heidi can filter out most background noise, but it’s best to transcribe in a relatively quiet space for optimal accuracy.
What happens if the client speaks in a different language?
- Heidi has a "multi-lingual" setting to enable conversations to jump between languages..
Can we edit Heidi’s output before finalizing the note?
- Absolutely. You can edit, add, or remove content before saving the note.
