ePrescribe - Locate a Dosage

When you need a specific medication dosage, it may not be immediately visible in ScriptSure. Here is how to locate the dosage your client needs.

1. Click More → ePrescribe.
2. Locate the client and click Prescribe New Drug.
3. Search the Drug. If no results come up for the Brand name, search the Generic version.
4. Select the Drug.
5. In the slide-out, click +Select a Different Dose.
6. Locate and select your desired strength.

Optional: After selecting, you can set up quantity, form and directions on the preview screen, then click Save Custom Format prior to sending the prescription. This will make the new format available for future clients.

NOTE: If you are not able to find the desired strength in either the Brand or Generic name search, it means that the medication is not manufactured in that strength anymore. If you are intent on still prescribing that dose/strength, you can create the med via the compound function in the program. See related article, ePrescribe - Prescribe a Compound.
