Engage - Recalls: Daily Review or Automated?
See the Automated toggle in Patient Recall? Learn what changes when it’s turned ON or OFF.
To see the settings in question, click Engage from your PracticeQ toolbar, then click Patient Recall → Settings.
Automated ON
- With this setting, your recall messages will send automatically each day.
- No action needs to be taken by your staff.
- The recall messages will send according to the settings you enter in Patient Recall → Settings and Templates → Patient Recall.
Automated OFF
- This setting is also known as Daily Review.
- With this setting, your practice will receive a Daily Review email listing all clients who are eligible to receive recall requests for the day.
- Your practice can review the list and remove clients whom you do not wish to receive recall requests.
- When done, click Send Recall Requests.
- To see the Daily Review list at any time, click Patient Recall → Daily Review.
- To ensure that you receive the Daily Recall Preview email, see the instructions below.

Daily Review Settings
- To receive your Daily Review email, do the following:
- Click Engage from your PracticeQ toolbar.
- Click Manage Users.
- Find your name in the list of users and click the Manage link under the Contact Preferences heading.
- Check the box labeled Daily Recall Preview.
