Engage - Filter a Message by Patient Group

Engage allows you to send reminders to specific client groups. This means more specific and personalized messages.

Before you can send targeted reminders, you must Create Patient Groups.

  1. Click Engage on your PracticeQ toolbar.
  2. Click Templates → Appointments.
  3. Scroll down the list and click on the message you wish to edit. You can apply filters to Appointment Reminders, Confirmation Requests, Recall RemindersBirthday Reminders, Missed Appointment Messages, and Save the Date messages.
  4. Click the gear wheel icon to customize the message settings.
  5. Give the message a Friendly Name, if desired. For example, you may title it Initial Consultation Appointment Reminder.
  6. Check each Contact Method you wish to use. You can select TextEmail, or both.
  7. Select a number of days or hours.
  8. Select DAYS or HOURS.
  9. Select BEFORE or AFTER to indicate if the reminder should go out before or after the appointment.
  10. Click ADD FILTER.
  11. In the first dropdown menu, select your filter choice. Options are ONLY SEND or DON'T SEND.
  12. In the second dropdown menu, select your Patient Group.
  13. To remove a filter, click the minus sign icon to the right.
