How do I get approved to prescribe controlled substances?

What is the difference between a Supervisor and a Collaborating MD?

  • A Collaborating MD approves prescriptions queued by a user who cannot prescribe on their own.
  • A Supervisor puts their name on prescriptions on behalf of practitioners. This is often required when a practitioner prescribes controlled substances.

How do I add a Collaborating MD to ePrescribe?

How do I add a Supervisor to ePrescribe?

I have been added to ePrescribe but I can't register because I have not been prompted to sign the EULA.

  • When you open a client profile in PracticeQ, select the Prescriptions tab, and click Manage Prescriptions, you should be prompted to sign the EULA.
  • If this does not happen, go to app.scriptsure.com and sign in with your ePrescribe credentials. You should then see the EULA.

How do I add another location to ePrescribe?

Can I have multiple DEAs within ePrescribe?

How do I sign up for ePrescribe as an admin who will not be prescribing?

  • You will have two options when you enable ePrescribe: sign up as a Prescriber, or sign up as an Admin.

Note: When you sign up as an Admin, you must have a practitioner signed up in PracticeQ. Have their NPI, license number and DEA number (if applicable) available.

Why do I see duplicate occurrences of the same prescription?

  • ePrescribe will create a separate line every time a medication is prescribed, even if it is a medication that has been prescribed to the client before.
  • If you do not want to see duplicate medications in the list, change the statuses of the prescriptions to remove them from your chosen view.
  • Read about available view options here: ePrescribe: Prescription View Options.
