Engage -Upload Client Contact List for a Broadcast

Upload a list of contacts to create an audience for a Broadcast message.

Important:  The contact list must be saved as a Comma Separated Values, or .csv file. You can easily create .csv files using a spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  1. Choose a spreadsheet file that has columns labeled for Name and Cell Phone number. Engage cannot import a spreadsheet that does not contain column headers.
  2. Click Engage from your PracticeQ toolbar.
  3. Click Patient Communicator → Broadcast.
  4. Select the Uploading a contact list option.
  5. Click Choose File and select the file as you would any other upload. Note: the limit for Broadcast messages is 500 contacts.
  6. Click DONE to complete the import. Depending on the file size, this may take 5-10 minutes.
Note: Only contacts with valid cell phone numbers will be imported.
