Engage - Toolbar Explained

When you open Engage from PracticeQ, you see a blue toolbar to the left. These are the actions you can perform under each toolbar item.

Dashboard

  • View a Messaging Breakdown - how many of each message has been sent in the date range on the top right
  • Review number of Confirmed Appointments and Confirmation messages sent
  • Note how many phone calls were avoided by automated messaging
  • View number of filled EasyFill requests
  • Audit how many clients opted out
  • Note how many public reviews/feedback requests were completed for your practice

Patient Communicator

  • View all messages between the practice and clients. 
  • Use the search bar next to the gear wheel to search for specific clients.
  • Use the Focused inbox to see messages with unique responses that will likely require your attention.
  • Start a new Conversation, send a Broadcast or view your Scheduled Messages.

Appointments

  • See all scheduled visits for your clients in the Schedule tab.
  • View the Schedule in Week, Day or List form.
  • Easily see which appointments are confirmed and missed.
  • Use the Message Logs tab to see all automated messages sent in the last 30 days, such as Appointment Reminders, Confirmation Requests, Recall Requests, Missed Appointment Reminders, and Birthday Reminders. 
  • Filter the Message Logs list by Method (text or email) or Reminder Type. This is a great way to audit the messages going out and to verify if a message was sent successfully to a client.

Campaigns

  • Send Campaigns, which are mass emails sent to a group of clients.
  • Use the Templates tab to select default and custom campaign templates.
  • Use the History tab to see the campaigns you have sent already and the ones you have scheduled to send in the future.

EasyFill

  • The EasyFill feature finds open spots on the schedule due to cancellations/reschedules and offers them to clients on a waitlist.
  • Use the Waitlist tab to see clients who wish to be alerted of open slots.
  • Use the Requests tab to see the EasyFill requests the practice has sent and their statuses.

Review Management

  • Link your social media sites (Google and Facebook) to see public reviews of your practice.
  • Request and view internal feedback.
  • Set up how review requests are sent, and to whom.

Patient Recall

  • Set up messages to remind clients that they need to schedule their next visit.
  • Tailor the settings to control how these messages are sent and to whom.

Location Details

  • Update your practice information.
  • Upload your logo.
  • Set your office hours.

Manage Users

  • Select the Engage notifications you do or do not wish to receive to your email.

Patients 

  • Use the Patients tab to view clients who have synced from PracticeQ.
  • Use the Non-integrated Patients tab to view contacts that you have manually uploaded to Engage.

Templates

  • Customize your automated templates, such as your Appointment Reminders, Confirmation Requests, and Recall Requests.
  • Customize the templates for other features, such as EasyFill.

Patient Groups

  • Set up groups of clients based on Treatments, Practitioner and Demographics.
  • Add, edit, or remove patient groups at any time.
