ePrescribe: Adding Practices

If you have more than one practice, you can add others using the below instructions. This will also tell you how to enter the DEA for that state.


Adding a New Practice

Note: There is no charge for adding additional practices. The charges are tied to the number of prescribers.

  1. Go to your ePrescribe settings
  2. Click the 'Open Prescription App" button
  3. Click your name in the top right.
  4. Click "Settings"
  5. Click "Practice Locations"
  6. Click "Add Practice"
  7. Enter practice details
  8. Save practice


Entering DEA's for Multiple Practices

Once you have the practice created, you can add your DEA and state licenses by practice.

  1. In the same Settings window, Scroll down to "Manage User" List
  2. Find yourself or the staff member to add the DEA's for, scroll all the way right (or zoom out) and click the green "Edit" button
  3. Click the Practices Circle (3rd Circle)
  4. Add the practices to the user by clicking the "Add Practice" button
  5. Click the "8th circle (Service Level)
  6. Find the practice you want to add the DEA to.
  7. Click the "Edit" button and enter the DEA for the user on the practice.
  8. Click the "Override Identification" checkbox to override the default information with the information entered on this practice.
  9. Click the "Complete" button to Save.
  10. Click the "Close" button to finish.

Once the practices are set up, you will need to choose the correct one from the green bar at the top when prescribing.
You can set a practice as the default by clicking the displayed option when choosing the practice.
