ePrescribe: Working with Pharmacy Messages

To view pharmacy messages, click the "Messages" button on the "Prescriptions" tab for any client. 

Filtering by Timeframe

You can filter the timeframe by choosing one of the following options.

  1. Select the dropdown next to the dates and choose manually
  2. Use the shortcuts next to "View All". 
    1. For example, selecting the arrow with the "30" will change the start date to 30 days prior to today's date, and the end date will be for today.

View All: 

Selecting "View All" will show all categories of "History" or "Pending" scripts for the selected timeframe.



Pending: 

Shows scripts that were pending during the selected timeframe


  1. Refill Request: shows all refill requests sent by pharmacies during the selected timeframe 
    1. Refill: Click here to view the details of the request.
    2. Reviewed: Click here to mark that you have reviewed the request.
    3. Approve: Click here to view the refill details, select the number of refills, and send approval to the pharmacy.
    4. Decline: Click here to select a reason and decline the pharmacy's refill request.

2.  Change Request: shows all change requests sent by pharmacies during the selected timeframe 

a. Change: Click here to view the details of the request. 

b. Reviewed: Click here to mark that you have reviewed the request. 

c. Approve: Click here to view the details of the request and send approval to the pharmacy. 

d. Decline: Click here to deny the request.

3. New Prescription: shows all new prescriptions waiting in the queue for approval

a. New: Click here to see more details for the script

b. Approve: Click here to approve the script

c. Delete: Click here to deny the prescription.

d. Edit: Click here to make changes to the prescription prior to sending to the pharmacy. 

4.  Error: shows all scripts that were not accepted by the pharmacy's system during the selected timeframe 

a. NewError: Click here to view details for the denial

b. Represcribe: Click here to represcribe the order since the first script was unsuccessful.

c. Reviewed: Click here to mark that the error has been reviewed, and it will disappear from the list

History

 

1.  Approved: Shows all approved refills during the selected timeframe

a. New: Click here to see details for the approved script. 


2.  Declined: Shows all declined refills during the selected timeframe 

a. New: Click here to see details for the declined script. 

3.  Cancel: Shows all canceled refills during the selected timeframe

4.  Error: Shows all prescription errors during the selected timeframe

a. Click here to see details for the error.
